The clients brief was to open up the separate kitchen, utility & dining room, to create a bright modern kitchen/ dining room.

The utility room was re-created in the garage which allowed room for a bank of tall units containing large larder fridge, coffee machine, warming drawer, ovens, and freezer. The rear of the property was totally transformed by two new double glazed French doors replacing the existing back door, kitchen window and sliding patio doors.

A new central heating boiler was installed within a cupboard over the integrated freezer.

The island has a seamless corian worktop with moulded corian sinks. Boxing was created to contain not only the ceiling mounted hood but also to create a feature over the island using LED lighting.

The extractor hood is powered by an external motor which is highly effective yet quiet over the induction hob. Large pan drawers, pull up sockets, dishwasher, pull out recycling bins are all contained within the central working island.

The plum wood tall units create width with its horizontal stripes and a contrast with the gloss caramel units in the island.
