Training and self improvement at KSL
Over the years, KSL owner, Richard Hibbert has built a strong relationship with the home specialists association, the KBSA. Richard is passionate about working with the organisation and other industry experts to develop more training and recognition in the field of kitchen design.
At KSL, we pride ourselves on being a design-led company where skills and industry knowledge is key. The team consider themselves to be extremely fussy – in the right way – to make sure they provide customers the best quality and value for money.
As a result, KSL staff work hard to keep improving their skills. Training is based on what each member of the team needs to develop, including customer care, sales and product training. Staff also visit exhibitions, awards events and factories across the UK and Europe to expand their knowledge.
In some cases, staff complete a year’s worth of training before they come face-to-face with customers.
Richard also continues to improve his own knowledge of new products and the industry before taking on a new partner. He recently travelled to Belgium to inspect a new product before taking it on as a new range.
