Our managing director Richard Hibbert, has been invited to become one of five judges in this years prestigious KBSA Kitchen Bathroom and Bedroom design awards, which celebrates the success and innovation of KBSA (Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Specialist Association) members across the country.
“The KBSA Design Awards are currently a range of kitchen and bathroom awards which are growing all the time “, said Richard. “The awards are for finished designs that have been planned, supplied and installed by the individual or company. There is also a kitchen concept award which opens the awards to everyone as the design must be based on set measurements and a brief – it’s a completely level playing field. Winning the awards give great confidence to the designer, enhances the company’s reputation and produces lots of natural publicity for any winner.”
The KBSA was founded in 1978 and includes approximately 250 retail members across the UK, is the only trade association operating specifically for the KBB industry, and represents independent KBB specialists. Members of the KBSA are considered the best in their industry, having to prove that they have very high standards and are working from a financially secure company, as well as being vetted constantly in a variety of ways to make sure that their high standards are maintained.
Richard said “To be asked to judge is very humbling. We pride ourselves on the way we act as a business and the way we treat each individual design. It is fantastic to be seen as such an industry expert at such a young age. I have been highly commended and short-listed a few times in the awards myself, so I know what the designers have been through and will go through.”
The annual KBSA KBB design awards ceremony and dinner will be taking place on September 23rd at it’s new venue at The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford On Avon.
