Thousands of visitors flocked to the town centre last weekend to enjoy the sights, smells and shopping at the region’s biggest Christmas event in Bury St Edmunds.
Over 300 stalls were on offer for Christmas shopping as well as fairground rides, Santa’s grotto and live music over 4 days. Visitors were also treated to some exceptional cookery demonstrations at our Cookery Theatre with partners ICE Cook School.
We were delighted that some great Chefs from the region used our kitchen equipment to demonstrate some outstanding cooking. It was a privilege to see so many top chefs using KSL’s kitchen and observe the amazing food produced.
Highlights included Marc Poynton’s 40 minute Christmas Dinner – the simplest, and most tasty answer to a stress-free Christmas meal imaginable. Former Michelin star chef-patron of Allimentum in Cambridge, Marc Poynton said “Thank you for supplying the kitchen, it was pleasure to cook on it!”
Founder and Managing Director of the Infusions Group, John Jackaman said: “A massive thank you to the amazing people at KSL Sudbury for building the most amazing mobile demonstration kitchen. Some of the best Chefs in East Anglia flexed their culinary muscles behind it this weekend and they loved it.”
