Challenge

The limited space and the large beams throughout the room meant installing a kitchen would be a challenge. Our clients wanted a modern, yet cosy feel.

Solution

Matt painted Sand Grey base units complemented the Grey Pine effect wall units and the Lime Washed Oak Karndean flooring.

Lift up wall units enable full access for storage and also keep the doors out of the client’s eyeline, important in a smaller space.

The Silestone worktops in Suede finish kept the simple, clean palette they were trying to achieve as well as giving them a functional and practical worksurface.

The clients were keen to keep their existing ceiling lights, so adding under-cabinet LED lighting gave a perfect working light on the worksurfaces and added extra light and a feeling of space.
The walls were finished in a natural tile supplied by the client.

“This was a particularly challenging project, mainly in terms of the space limitations. There were also lots of tiny bits of detail that I had to keep on top on in order to deliver the end result. I am very pleased that the handle-less design creates a modern feel but is also a practical solution meeting the client’s needs.”
