This modern, yet quirky new-build home in the heart of Bury St Edmunds needed a new kitchen to meet the needs of the owners.

Challenge

Functionality was key for our client who are keen home chefs and gardeners. The owners wanted a cooking area that would enable them to socialise but interact with them while they were cooking.

Solution

The kitchen opens up onto a purpose built kitchen garden making it easy to get out and pick fresh herbs and vegetables for cooking.

The cooking area includes an angled Silestone worktop enabling people to gather and socialise while the owners cook on the Neff induction hob with downdraft extractor. The Beckermann units and Blum Legrabox drawers and pull outs are the perfect mixture of style and functionality and offer an abundance of storage.

The striking blue of the island unit is complimented by the dark grey units elsewhere, giving a bold contrast and adding a little more fun to an otherwise sleek and simple design. Contrasting quartz worktops also add new colours and finishes to the scheme.

“What’s great about this kitchen design is the way everything comes together to create a functional, yet inspiring space that compliments the modern feel of the building and the creative minds of the clients.”
