The owners of a 1970s house in Suffolk wanted new fitted wardrobes for their bedroom that would provide adaptable storage in a clean and contemporary design.

Challenge

Our client had an area opposite their bed that housed a freestanding wardrobe that was wasting space. The client wanted to better utilise the space with fitted wardrobes that would provide significantly more storage.

Solution

With adaptability of storage for clothes being key, we suggested floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe furniture from Trend Interiors. We recommended the ‘Sofia’ door in white, which is made of premium quality painted wood and offers a classic yet contemporary look. Inside the wardrobes is a mixture of full hanging space and double hanging space with a pull down rail for shirts. This offers our client adaptable storage for all of their clothes.

We also included a dressing table in the design which sits neatly below a stable corner unit and runs along the wall. The custom made dressing table creates a focal point for the room and was a lovely addition for the client who’d never owned a dressing table before.

The space in the room is now far better used and so the client’s bedroom not only benefits aesthetically but practically.

The overall appearance of the room is far more organised, coordinated as well as looking clean and stylish. It was a lovely bonus to be able to accommodate a dressing table for our client in the space and I’m really pleased that she loves it.
